Karuna Wellness Program use evidence-based 3 Step Winning Approach:
On your marks: In this step, the health coach begins building a relationship with the client, assesses the clients current health status and determines their readiness for change. Coaches personalizes the process from there on.
Get Set: Here, the client sets their sights on specific wellness goals and plan their desired focus area. The health coach shares practical ideas for making sustainable, measurable progress.
Go, Goals: Changing habits, making adjustments and celebrating successes are the keys at this stage. Our coaches give each employee the one-on-one support they need to work towards their goals based on their most unnerving wellness challenges.

NEW APPLICANT
KarunaHealth is always looking for skilled, licensed and/or certified medical professionals (Doctors, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Pharmacists, Nurse aides, Lab technicians, volunteers) who want to work as wellness screeners and/or administer vaccines at corporate health events. Position is on an as needed basis (contract work), as an independent contractor, not as an employee. We recruit individuals who are looking to supplement their income by picking up some extra hours or shifts. We also encourage individuals who will like to grow their career in healthcare.

FOUNDER, DIRECTOR OF HEALTH SERVICE
Dr. Kaycee’s passion and experience in hands-on patient care and education led her to think differently about how organizations support the health of employees and the community. A Physician, Professional Nurse, College Professor and Philanthropist, she founded Karuna Health and Wellness in 2008 to advance workplace community wellness programs that reduce hospital admissions. She has organized and participated in numerous wellness corporate programs in several countries including Antigua, Aruba, Nigeria, Italy and England.
A motivated health and business leader, dedicated to excellence, Dr. Kaycee has numerous awards including 2009 Academic Writing Award, Pace University; 2018 Honors Award in Medicine, Xavier University. She has served in leadership positions including Vice President, Emergency Medical Group, Society for Leadership and Success. With an effervescent personality, her intuition, ideas and creativity has been sought by corporate leaderships in Africa and the United States.
DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF HEALTH
Briseida is a medical graduate. She has a Master’s degree in public health (MPH) with a background in community health education. She has participated in many health fairs to improve community’s health in Antigua, St Kitts ,Dom Rep, Nigeria and Albania. Briseida attends many conferences yearly such as Symposium Harvard medical school, APHA, Walden Residencies and AMSA. She was the chief of clinical research at Hartford Hospital, ED where she trained many students to collect data for clinical research. Currently, Briseida is earning her PhD in Public Health, focused on Community Health. Briseida has a vibrant personality, with a high medical and business acumen. She is multi-lingual, creatively driven individual with a team-oriented personality. She has great leadership experience with various companies within the U.S.
